The opener marks the start of the second season under head coach Mike Reid, whose team is looking to build on last year’s 3-7 campaign. On defense, Landrum brings back seven starters, giving the Cardinals an experienced foundation on that side of the ball. Following the opener against Walhalla, the Cardinals travel to Ninety Six before returning home later in the season for several key regional matchups. With a mix of experienced returners and emerging playmakers, the Cardinals hope to take a step forward in Reid’s second season and contend for more victories this fall.
