Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri visited the ongoing preparations for the 2026 Agriculture and Crafts Exhibition, at the Villa Rundle Gardens, in Victoria. The exhibition, which will be held on the 14th and 15th of August, is part of the traditional activities of Santa Marija. The history of the Agricultural and Craft Show dates back to 1855, it is one of the oldest and most established cultural activities in Gozo and forms an important part of the Santa Marija celebrations. Over the years the show has evolved from an agricultural exhibition to a full-fledged celebration of rural life, local produce, animals, crafts and Gozitan identity. The exhibition program will include displays of fruit and vegetables, poultry, rabbits, animals, agricultural machinery and handicrafts, along with activities for children, traditional food and folkloric entertainment.
