Moulton, a congressman for the state’s Sixth District, has out-raised Markey by nearly a million dollars as of Aug. 3: Moulton raised about $5.6 million from the beginning of 2025 through the end of June, according to the Federal Election Commission. The two campaigns nonetheless remain nearly neck-and-neck in cash reserves: Moulton reported about $2.6 million in the bank as of June 30, while Markey reported about $2.2 million.
