Hyderabad: Job aspirants in Ranchi, Jharkhand, have been staging an indefinite sit-in protest at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium, demanding a Central investigation into alleged paper leaks, OMR sheet tampering and recruitment irregularities in examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). Against this backdrop, a video showing a large torchlight procession has gone viral on social media. Users claim it shows people protesting in Jharkhand against the alleged JPSC/JSSC examination irregularities. In the viral video, a large number of people can be seen marching on the streets carrying torches. An X user shared the video with the caption, “Reports from Ranchi: Students Across Jharkhand Protested Against Alleged JPSC/JSSC Exam Lapses.”
