The Golden Triangle Development LINK had its Mark Twain moment this week. This week, LINK CEO Meryl Fisackerly announced an agreement that will bring a $200 million facility and at least 100 jobs to Oktibbeha County. Tate Reeves, the Board of Supervisors approved a fee-in-lieu-of-taxes incentive for the project, which is known as Project Jacket. It should inspire confidence in Fisackerly as CEO not only in Starkville and Oktibbeha County, but throughout the Golden Triangle. Project Jacket will do much to allay those fears.
