Mississippi State’s new defensive line coach has been a name in the football world for a long time. Before he started coaching, Warren was a key piece of the New England Patriots defensive line in the 2000s, starting 93 games through his eight year NFL career, and winning two Super Bowls. “I stay close with all my coaching mentors,” Warren said at Monday’s MSU football media availability. Warren started his coaching career at Somerville High School in Texas before working as an assistant with the Detroit Lions in 2019 and 2020. He’s taking over a defensive line looking to improve on a lackluster season in 2025.
