The event, hosted by the Yorkshire Dales Farmer Network, took place at Twistleton Barn near the Ingleton Falls, a popular tourist spot.
Through hands-on demonstrations and educational displays, attendees learned about the importance of farming, food production, and land management in the Dales, including the stewardship of high fell terrain.
"We would love to do more of this, and we are grateful to Yorkshire Dales National Park, Farming in Protected Landscapes Fund, which enabled us to deliver this important event."
The Yorkshire Dales Farmer Network is a not-for-profit, farmer-led organisation that has been supporting farmers in the Dales for over 16 years.
The recent event at Twistleton Barn was part of the network’s efforts to bridge the gap between consumers and producers, helping to rebuild understanding and appreciation for farming in the Yorkshire Dales.
