Muscat Municipality has highlighted that vehicles displayed for sale in unauthorised locations negatively affect the area’s appearance, hinder the smooth flow of traffic, and limit the optimal use of public facilities. To address this issue, the municipality’s procedures for dealing with violating vehicles involve placing a warning sticker on the vehicle, allowing a specified period for the vehicle to be removed, and taking the necessary regulatory action if there is no response. Therefore, Muscat Municipality emphasises the importance of displaying vehicles for sale only at designated and approved locations, as this contributes to a better quality of life and the preservation of public facilities.
