Beverly - Barbara L. (Jones) Henderson, of Beverly, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, called home to be with the Lord on July 23, 2026, at Avita in Newburyport. Barbara was predeceased by her loving husband, Douglas L. Henderson, with whom she shared fifty-six years of marriage. Born on July 28, 1928, daughter of the late Robert C. and Clara L. (Rougvie) Jones of Wenham, Barbara grew up in Wenham and graduated from Beverly High School, Class of 1945. Barbara was an active member of First Church in Wenham, Dane Street Congregational Church, Beverly YMCA, and Beverly Senior Center. Barbara is survived by her two children: her son, Richard Henderson, and his wife, Laura, of Newburyport; her daughter, Janet Henderson, and her husband, Kevin Carr, of Wenham.
