A man from New Mexico incurred moderate injuries after his motorcycle went off a Pettis County highway Tuesday, Aug. 4. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 47-year-old from Albuquerque was going west on Route HH, about four miles north of Sedalia, when at about 8 p.m., his Harley went off the roadway and overturned, throwing him from the bike. He was taken to a Columbia hospital. Troopers say he had not been wearing the proper safety gear at the time of the crash.
