In a joint statement, Councillors Edwards, Leighton and Thomson said: "We share the frustration residents have felt over past delays and security issues at Micklefield House, but this application is a major step forward. Residents wishing to comment on the proposals must do so by Friday, August 14, 2026, using planning references 26/01800/FU and 26/01801/LI. Alongside the planning application, work has continued to improve the surrounding parkland.
