Nantwich Police are to stage a “Bike Social” event which will include free bike marking to help combat theft. The event will take place on the Barony Park and is being sponsored by The Studio Nantwich. Bike owners are being encouraged to “mark it, lock it” after a spate of bike thefts in the town in recent weeks. Nigel Woodhouse, owner of The Studio, said: “We are sponsoring this Nantwich Police bike marking eventas our son had his bike stolen. As well as free bike marking, owners can get a free bike health check and enjoy free drinks and snacks.
