[]
Sidmouth Herald | News
Devon County Council has issued a reminder about the Crisis & Resilience Fund, which supports low-income residents in times of sudden financial hardship.
The fund, which replaced the Household Support Fund in April 2026, is designed to help cover essential costs such as food, energy, water, housing costs, and heating oil for those facing unexpected financial difficulties.
"The Crisis & Resilience Fund is there to provide support when people need it most, helping them deal with immediate difficulties while also connecting them with advice and services that can improve their longer-term financial wellbeing.
The fund is available through district and city councils as well as Citizens Advice Devon.
Further information about the Crisis & Resilience Fund is available on the Devon County Council website.
