Local private equity firm Eos Capital has announced its exit from its Allegrow Fund investment in luxury safari brand The Mushara Collection, marking the largest private equity exit in Namibia’s unlisted investment market to date. Eos Capital, in a statement recently, confirmed that all operational, legal, and compliance protocols have been established to meet remaining statutory requirements and secure outstanding regulatory approvals. The transaction, which includes shareholder dividends, delivers an unprecedented liquidity event for Namibia’s domestic private equity landscape, a market historically challenged by limited transaction volume and exit opportunities. Eos said these are the kind of assets they seek to invest in, and this exit lands at a time when exits and liquidity events across Namibia’s private capital market have been notably difficult. Board Chairman at Eos Capital, Ismael Gei-Khoibeb, said he is proud of the team’s disciplined and professional execution in investing, growing and exiting investments of this nature.
