Skanska UK reached the top of the contractor league table in July, thanks to a pair of jobs in the first wave of schemes under the government’s £37bn New Hospital Programme (NHP). Contractors on other NHP jobs dominated the rest of the monthly table, after they signed long-term agreements on 30 July to deliver NHS hospitals across England. Another NHP job gave Laing O’Rourke the bronze medal in July, after it was appointed to deliver the new £900m Hillingdon Hospital. Fourth-placed Morgan Sindall inked 20 deals worth a combined £784.2m in July. Loading…Kier dropped one place to fifth in the monthly table, thanks to four deals worth a total of £662.8m.
