McAleer & Rushe has won a £50m contract to deliver the 256-bedroom Clayton Hotel in Edinburgh for developer MRP. Dalata Hotel Group has agreed a pre-let for the four-star hotel, which will become its second Clayton-branded property in Edinburgh. McAleer & Rushe senior director Mark Diamond said the scheme drew on the contractor’s experience in hotels and city-centre regeneration.
