The participants highlighted the significant developments and achievements recorded since the Washington Peace Summit of August 8, 2025. Stressing the importance of lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan for unlocking the region’s development potential, they also discussed possible steps to further consolidate peace. Mirzoyan and Lightstone also explored opportunities and plans to expand trade and economic cooperation and strengthen Armenia’s economic and energy resilience. The meeting featured detailed discussions on promoting regional connectivity and leveraging Armenia’s competitive advantages in this regard. The interlocutors also discussed a range of other issues of mutual interest.
