Last weekend, however, it was all about the fillies, Soreanga seeing off 14 rivals in Düsseldorf’s Preis der Diana, with French raider Lapotheose (#338 from #444) settling for second, three and a half lengths off the winner. It has now emerged that, after the triumph, Soreanga has accelerated 335 places from #461 to #126 in the horses rankings. Soreanga had been gathering good results going into Sunday, with Listed success at two and victory (albeit only just) in the Group 3 Hamburger Stutenpreis on Group 1 Deutsches Derby day last month.
