A Hong Kong Jockey Club team will join the Europe, Great Britain & Ireland and Rest of the World groups at this Saturday’s Shergar Cup, which will operate as a World Pool fixture for the first time. Said Hong Kong team is headed by Vincent Ho, famous for partnering the likes of three-time Hong Kong Horse of the Year Golden Sixty, and currently #72 from #70 in our jockey standings after the end of his domestic racing season. He’ll be joined by #99 jockey Jerry Chau and Luke Ferraris (#129 from #130), who grew up in Hong Kong but spent his apprenticeship in South Africa, moving back east a few years ago.
