['Luke Adams']
Hoops Rumors
Longtime NBA center Daniel Theis has officially signed a two-year contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Israeli team announced today in a press release.
The move had been expected, with a recent report indicating that he’d earn $2.2MM per year on his new deal.
In addition to signing Theis, Maccabi Tel Aviv has also emerged as a “serious” suitor for former Hawks guard Keaton Wallace, reports Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews.com.
According to Urbonas, the expectation is that Wallace will continue his playing career in Europe.
It’s unclear if there are additional EuroLeague teams pursuing him besides Maccabi Tel Aviv.
