BRADLEY COUNTY — An inmate at the Bradley County Jail has died after experiencing a medical emergency on August 5, 2026. According to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, while breakfast was being served, a male inmate experienced a medical emergency. Correctional staff responded and provided assistance until emergency medical personnel arrived. They say the inmate was transported to a local hospital for treatment, where he later passed away. TBI agents are currently on scene looking into the cause of death.
