Newcastle are set to sell Bruno Guimaraes to Arsenal for £75M, according to David Ornstein. Spending that much on a 28-year old is not without risk, particularly with the physical demands of the Premier League. I say "starting" because, as mentioned, Arsenal have Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi in the middle of the park. I'd suggest there is a bit of a misconception about the player Bruno actually is, created by his fiercely competitive, combative attitude playing for a physical Newcastle side. He can do some of the maverick things Declan Rice to give Arsenal's workhorse a rest, although Bruno isn't as athletic.
