Beawar: A government Ayurveda hospital in Rajasthan's Beawar district, home to the district's only Panchakarma Centre, has reportedly been left without a single doctor, disrupting healthcare services and forcing patients from nearby villages to travel nearly 50 kilometres for treatment. The 'A' category Government Ayurveda Hospital in Jhutha village in Raipur tehsil has three sanctioned posts for medical officers. However, all three posts are currently occupied, bringing routine clinical services to a standstill despite the hospital having infrastructure and healthcare facilities. Although the government has reportedly issued orders for the posting of a new doctor, the doctor has not yet assumed charge. They have also warned that if the issue is not resolved promptly, they may be forced to launch a public agitation demanding restoration of healthcare services at the hospital.
