A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape following an attack on a woman in her 20s on Brighton Beach, police have said. Officers confirmed a 28-year-old man was being held after they received reports of the incident along the East Sussex shore. It is believed the alleged attack took place either late on Tuesday or in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
