Prince Albert woman charged after RCMP drug bust

A Prince Albert woman is facing drug trafficking and impaired driving charges after an RCMP traffic stop led to the seizure of cocaine, methamphetamine, cash and weapons.
Prince Albert RCMP say officers stopped a vehicle on Highway 2 in the RM of Buckland on Aug. 2 after observing it speeding and swerving.
Investigators later executed a search warrant at a residence in Prince Albert, where they seized nearly 200 grams of cocaine, additional trafficking paraphernalia, a large amount of cash and an imitation firearm.
Weber was remanded into custody and made her first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Aug. 4.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Combined Traffic Services unit assisted with the investigation.
