Post Views: 1,718Deputy Garrett Eggener with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has been recognized by the United States Attorney’s Office for his role in dismantling a cocaine trafficking operation. According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Eggener, who is assigned to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) as a Task Force Officer (TFO), was recognized along with other investigators involved in the case on June 16, 2026 for his contributions to the long-term investigation. At the time of the investigation, Deputy Eggener was assigned as a full-time Special Agent with DCI’s Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET). Those convicted as a result of the investigation include Jose Junior Ramos of Star Valley Ranch, Wyoming, Saul Andrew Garcia of Star Valley Ranch, Wyoming, Joseph Gadlin, of Star Valley Ranch, Wyoming, Cesar Antancio Torres-Cazares of Alpine, Wyoming, O’Neil Anthony Findley of Jamaica, and Marlon Forrest of Jamaica. “The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has participated in the Task Force Officer program since 2008,” stated Sheriff Shane Johnson.
