Masood Khan, who works for a Telugu news channel, went to cover an incident involving an attack on a welding workshop. On noticing Masood filming the incident, some persons allegedly attacked him with sticks, leaving him injured. According to the police, the incident stemmed from a minor altercation between some persons who had visited the welding workshop for work.
