The online platform enables children and their families to discreetly report cyber crimes such as cyberbullying, cyberstalking, image morphing and child sexual abuse material, helping authorities take timely action. Introduced in 2017, the POCSO e-Box was developed by the NCPCR as a simple and direct mechanism for reporting offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012. Officials say the POCSO e-Box provides a safe and confidential channel for reporting offences, encouraging victims and their families to seek help without hesitation.
