The bleed control kit, designed to provide emergency treatment for serious injuries, has been placed in Newhaven to help save lives in the event of traumatic blood loss, often associated with knife wounds.
The kit, installed on Newhaven High Street, is sponsored by Master Keyed Locks and Bursa Kebabs.
They said: "As a parent of teenagers myself I bought a bleed kit because knife crime and youth violence are pressing public safety concerns that can impact any young person.
"Hopefully having Newhaven High Street access to trauma gear and tourniquets might just save a life in the critical minutes before emergency services arrive."
Mr Scott’s broader work focuses on diverting young people away from the dangers of gang grooming, exploitation and knife crime.
