Alfie Price, a professional athlete who plays for Worthing Thunder, is also a dedicated student balancing his sporting ambitions with academic success in physiotherapy at the University of Chichester. "Last year I worked really hard and managed to get a contract with the British Championship Basketball (BCB) team at Thunder." Alongside his rapidly progressing basketball career, Mr Price was studying in his first year of a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree at the University of Chichester. He said: "GASP (Gifted Athlete Support Programme) athletes get free use of the gym, which has been a life saver. "Excelling in a demanding Physiotherapy degree while competing at this level is a remarkable achievement.
