Documentary filmmaker and long-distance runner Matt Nelson completed the challenge in 25 days, connecting 141 stations on foot across eight counties. His journey began in Bedford and finished on July 21 at Brighton railway station, where he was greeted by friends, Thameslink staff and a special station announcement. Mr Nelson said: "Thameslink is a massive railway network and engineering feat that connects communities north and south of London. He is raising funds for Mind, the mental health charity partnered with Thameslink, and aims to raise £1,000.
