Stone Eye and The Fourth Apocalypse, written by Mark Barrowcliffe, is available on Audible from August 3.
The tale, read by Gunnar Cauthery, follows Stone Eye, a veteran of three apocalypses, as he navigates a prophecy that disrupts his retirement.
Stone Eye, who wields a magical spade, has one ambition: to be left alone with a decent pint.
The story unfolds with Stone Eye recounting their shared adventures, including assembling a unique group of underqualified adventurers to face the Ghost King in the Lightning-Struck Tower.
Barrowcliffe, who grew up in Coventry, has previously written four comic novels for Macmillan and Hachette, all of which received positive reviews.
