The A29 Church Hill in Pulborough will close on August 10 to allow West Sussex County Council's contractor Telent to carry out lighting maintenance works.
The road will be closed between the junctions with the A283 and New Place Road.
The latest closure of Church Hill follows a series of disruptions on the A29, which was closed earlier this year between April 20 and April 30 to allow essential tree works.
Efforts to carry out tree works were delayed after landowners appealed against statutory notices served by the council in February 2024.
No vehicle access will be permitted during the latest closure, except for emergency services.
