Staff in Brighton have accepted an improved pay deal from the Brighton Pavilion and Museums Trust. The agreement means that although staff will receive a limited pay rise for 2026-27, their other terms and conditions will remain the same. The Pavilion and Museums Trust has also committed to formal collective bargaining with UNISON and GMB, the two unions representing the staff. "That's good news for staff and the work of the Royal Pavilion and Museums Trust." The Brighton Pavilion and Museums Trust oversees several venues across the city, including the Royal Pavilion and Gardens and Brighton Museum and Art Gallery.
