There is a narrow window in which nations decide whether they shape AI or get shaped by it. About 20 years later, in 2024, I was elected as the MP for the Vale of Glamorgan. I believe that requires both building and regulating with British values in mind, focusing on sovereignty now so we avoid feeling powerless later down the line.
