The Republican nominee for Alabama Secretary of State is criticizing the hypocrisy of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani when it comes to his opposition of voter ID laws. Mamdani recently announced a plan to open five city-owned grocery stores, one in each borough, which will offer a 30% discount on essential staple foods. While the mayor supports some kind of ID for his stores, he has been openly against any type of voter ID. Secretary of State candidate Caroleene Dobson said Socialists like Mamdani are just blatant hypocrites on this issue. Dobson has made election integrity an essential part of her campaign in the Yellowhammer State.
