Trespassers halt train services in south Essex as passengers face chaos

A spokesperrson for c2c said: "Police requested services were stopped due to a trespasser between Chafford Hundred & Ockendon.
"Train services running across the whole c2c network may be delayed or revised."
The incident has caused widespread disruption across the c2c network, with delays, cancellations, and diversions affecting passengers.
Two London Fenchurch Street to Southend Central trains -scheduled to depart at 12.41pm and 1.41pm - have been cancelled.
Passengers on five other services face significant disruption, with trains delayed by up to 45 minutes or rerouted to avoid the affected stretch of line.
