The incident happened yesterday at around midday on the corner of Harley Street and Marine Parade in Leigh. The garden wall of a house at the top of the steps down to the station was severely damaged. A Lexus was seen crashed into the wall, with serious damage to the front of the car, and bricks and car parts had been flung several metres into the garden due to the impact of the crash. Essex Police attended the scene and have put tape around the wall to deter members of the public from walking nearby.
