Possessed of the travel bug, The Garment’s Charlotte Eskildsen created a spring collection she named The Tourist. The designer covered a lot of ground this season as she thought about an on-the-go wardrobe that would fit in a suitcase and how different garments and materials pack. The clothes Eskildsen sent down the runway seemed to represent distinct journeys. Overall, the collection felt more tied together by palette than anything else. Joining model Laila Hasanovic on the runway was her good friend, the newly married Desiré Duplantis, who made her catwalk debut.
