Results are in from Tuesday’s primary election on some key amendments in Missouri. Voters in the state were heavily against Amendment 4. Amendment 4 would have required citizen-led ballot initiatives to win a majority in each of Missouri’s congressional districts, boundaries that are drawn by state lawmakers. Amendment 5 failed Tuesday, with no getting nearly 83% of the vote when it was called. On the other hand, Amendment’s 1 and 2 both passed, with Amendment 1 receiving 82% yes votes, while Amendment 2 earned 77% yes votes.
