Powys baker to become new voice of North Wales on language app
['Josh Price']
County Times | News
Lins Vaughan, a baker from Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, was invited to record for the uTalk language learning platform after being overheard speaking Welsh to customers at Llanfyllin Market.
uTalk, a London-based company, offers language learning in 160 languages, including southern Welsh.
Ms Nelson said: "If there are any recording studios interested in supporting our work to record the North Welsh language, please get in touch at hello@utalk.com.
"It would be great to do the recording in Wales instead of London and make this a proper North Wales production."
Steven Rule, a North Welsh speaker known online as Doctor Cymraeg, will also join Ms Vaughan as a voice artist.
