But it has impacted other services offered by Transport for Wales between Birmingham International and Aberystwyth and Pwllheli, as well as the Holyhead and Llandudno Junction to Birmingham International lines. A spokesman for Transport for Wales said: "We have been made aware of a signalling problem at Wellington. "To allow our colleagues at Network Rail to fix the issue, we are reducing the number of services running between Shrewsbury and Birmingham International. "This is affecting services on our Birmingham International to Aberystwyth and Pwllheli, Holyhead to Birmingham International, and Llandudno Junction to Birmingham International routes in both directions. "Trains will be cancelled between Shrewsbury and Birmingham International, and we expect this disruption to last until 18:00.
