The cream draw-string mail bag, bearing the signatures of 10 of the gang members who were subsequently arrested and imprisoned, is among a collection of Great Train Robbery items being sold by Ewbank's Auctions near Guildford later this month.
The Great Train Robbery took place in August 1963 when a gang of armed criminals stopped the Royal Mail Travelling Post Office train as it travelled from Glasgow to London Euston.
The signed mail bag is similar to those made by gang members while serving prison sentences following their arrests.
It is accompanied by a colour photograph of the train involved in the robbery.
The mail bag is expected to sell for £70 to £100, while the second lot is estimated at £100 to £150.
