The application, submitted by Llyr Evans of Preseli Planning Ltd on behalf of Pamela Parsons, seeks to change the use of land at Aelybryn in Cardigan to a caravan and camping site with 17 holiday pitches.
The site has been used for camping and caravanning since 2011, but the certificate from the Camping and Caravanning Club lapsed in 2019.
The application was discussed at the Cardigan Town Council meeting on July 7, attended by councillors Olwen Davies, Siân Maehrlein, David Maehrlein, Nick Bolton, John Adams-Lewis, Richard Davies, Teresa Harries, Mark Cole, Trystan Phillips, Richard Jones, and Clive Davies.
The application noted that a certificate of lawfulness for the change of use of the land to a caravan and camping site had previously been submitted and withdrawn.
Cardigan Town Council raised no objection to the application, but added they wished to record their disapproval of retrospective planning applications.
