In order to avoid high overheads, Clayton has chosen an “agile” business model with no office, offering personalised legal advice in an area he calls “a niche within a niche”: commercial disputes. “I looked at the local legal landscape and in my service area of commercial business and property disputes, a lot of firms dabble in a bit of everything, but I've targeted a niche. My focus is on resolving disputes in the best way possible, not running up legal costs. “If I can make myself the go-to person for solving legal disputes, there’s a real opportunity.”
