The five-star Michelin Key establishment Gilpin Hotel & Lake House at Windermere has been awarded a Five Bubble Luxury Rating from the Good Spa Guide and has been shortlisted for three of its awards. The categories are Best Spa in the North West, Best Hotel Spa (Boutique), and Best Spa for Wellness. The Best Spa for Wellness category will be decided by an expert judging panel, and the winners will be announced at the Good Spa Guide Awards later this year. Gilpin Hotel & Lake House has also been recognised as part of the inaugural Olive Travel & Taste Awards, having been shortlisted in the UK Spa Hotel of the Year category. The awards, launched by Olive, "celebrate excellence" across a range of categories from emerging food destinations and city breaks to luxury stays, restaurants with rooms, vineyard escapes, and spa hotels.
