The Scottish Ambulance Service said they were called to Brandon Street at 10.32 pm on Tuesday, August 4. An ambulance and a paramedic response unit attended and one patient was taken to University Hospital Hairmyres for treatment. A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 22:32 on Tuesday 4 August to attend an incident on Brandon Street, Hamilton. We dispatched an ambulance and a paramedic response unit (PRU) to the scene. We transported one patient to University Hospital Hairmyers.”
