British Transport Police said they were called shortly before 11pm on Monday, August 4, following reports of a medical emergency. A spokesperson added: “We were called to Gordon Street, Glasgow, shortly before 11pm last night (4 August) following reports of a medical emergency. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were also sent to the scene after reports of a possible gas leak. A spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10 pm on Tuesday, 4 August to reports of a gas leak on Gordon Street, Glasgow. Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene, but our services were not required.”
