Another session was on nursing, led by Lesa Phillips, who teaches nursing at OUS. Sasha Riley, of Kiwanis, taught with Mary Williams. Bobcat Academy also received a RHE Workforce grant, which paid the OUS student workers who assisted with the event. Simmons said Bobcat Academy also had funding from the Lawrence County Community Foundation, who helped to pay the cost of attending for some students.
