Kazakhstan plans to introduce an electronic entry permit system for foreign citizens and stateless persons as part of efforts to modernize and digitalize migration control procedures.
The proposed amendments provide for the issuance of electronic entry permits to foreign citizens and stateless persons.
"The issuance of electronic permits for entry into the Republic of Kazakhstan to foreign citizens and stateless persons" is listed as one of the key provisions of the draft regulation.
The draft notes that the introduction of differentiated fees for processing electronic permits will allow the accumulation of service revenues to ensure "uninterrupted technical maintenance, modernization of digital infrastructure and protection of personal data."
